The Bear Flop is an event created and run by the students of Norwalk High School. The goal is to raise both money and awareness for cancer though a belly flop competition. All proceeds will be donated to NorwalkHospital.

The Bear Flop is this Thursday after school at NHS.
Thank you all for the support.
We have 25 students and 10 teachers flopping this year!
All the proceeds are going to Norwalk Hospital's Whittingham Cancer Center.

The 5th Annual Norwalk High School Bear Flop

NHS student Michael Bonebrake with the help of the Bears Beating Cancer Club brought a belly flop competition to NHS for the first time in 2012 called THE BEAR FLOP.  The event has raised both money and awareness for Norwalk Hospital's Whittingham Cancer Center and Yale's Smillow Cancer Center.

The event won the 2013 Connecticut Challenge to Educational Citizenship Award.
