A little help goes a long way

Hello,My name is Courtney. I'm from Nv but currently live in Mo. In July, i moved my mother to Missouri to have her closer to family. The plan was for her to help with the kiddos so I can go back to school (I currently work overnights in the E.R) In Early August I took my mother to the E.R for what we assumed was pneumonia. They ended up finding a 10cm mass in her right lung along with 3 nodes in her left lung. After a lot of testing we were told it has also spread to her brain. She is currently starting radiation and chemo will follow. I literally feel like I'm running a marathon while sprinting most of it. As I said, I work 3rd shift (50-60 hr a week to try to stay caught up). Between that, Dr appointments and raising my 4 wonderful children, I am already exhausted and ready for a break. Unfortunately, I have exhausted my little emergency fund and have fallen a little behind on bills. At the end of the day, everyone has what they need and I have adjusted the bills to be paid late. I may try to apply for assistance as well but am afraid I'll get rejected. Anyways, I'm doing my best to remain grateful and humble. Just thought I'd put this out there and give it a try. If anyone knows of any resources I can reach out to, that'd be helpful as well. Thank for reading!
