A new life in a new home!

Why this is so important to me

My parents would have paid off their current house in two years. Unfortunately my dad's alcoholism proved to be too difficult to handle because of the anger and abuse, so my mom is leaving that life behind to start fresh. My mom will be getting half of what the house is worth (around $150,000) and to live in a decent house in our area it would have to be at least $300,000 with a little acreage for her animals to live on. 

My mom is the hardest working person I know. She has worked several jobs at a time while going to school and raising me, without the support of my father. She is selfless, and will do anything to make people around her happy. I want to give her something that she doesn't have to work so hard for because she has done enough, it's her turn to get what she wants and be a little selfish. I want her to have the retirement she deserves, as well as a home that she can live happily in.
