You might have seen me on the concert stage but you may not know this: my life was changed because of adoption. Through video storytelling, I hope to bring awareness about adoption & foster care to as many as I can.

Everyone has a story.
Mine had an unlikely beginning, followed by a crazy miracle. I arrived in the world in extreme prematurity and unplanned. 2 years later, I was adopted.
Now, at 29, I've stood on stages with some of the best artists out there including Brian Free & Assurance, Joseph Habedank, The LeFevre Quartet, Adam Crabb, The Whisnants, Tribute Quartet, Soul’d Out Quartet & John Tibbs, to name a few. I've also been allowed to share at schools and colleges around the area.
After finishing up my tour dates for 2019, I realized the one part of my story I glossed over was my adoption. This year I've crossed paths with others who have been adopted or have been affected by foster care and adoption. These interactions caused me to realize something:
My life is a testament to the beauty, redemption, and power of adoption. In a perfect world, the ideal would be that there are no orphans, children/teens are reunified with biological family, there's no need for foster care, and every person longing to be a parent would have the opportunity to give their love to a child. Sadly, this isn't the case.
But there is hope.
//
I recently met two incredible videographers/photographers, Tim & Allie LaPointe. I shared with them the vision that I had for sharing my story, and after a great conversation, we decided to team up together.
After talking with Tim & Allie, to produce this video, it is going to cost about $2,000. Here's where the funds will go:
I am not making any profit from these funds. They will go solely to the LaPointes for their work on this project.
I believe that this story can affect lives for the better, and maybe even for eternity. Through this project, I hope to open hearts to how we can all be involved in caring for children & teens around us, whether that's through learning how to become a CASA volunteer, getting licensed to foster children/teens, exploring adoption, or supporting the people around us who are actively involved in these areas. Stories change the world, and I want to use mine to do just that. When you give to this campaign you're helping change the world too.
