American Legion Post 233 needs your small donation of $19 to cover the costs of setting up the Vietnam Memorial Wall. To reach our goal, could you make a contribution?
How your donation will help: Thank you to all the donors and fundraising events that helped us reach our goal of $7000. This is how much it costs to get the wall here. However, there are extraordinary expenses that we need money for to put on this huge event.
We must buy lumber and build the structures to support each wall segment, which is a significant cost to the Post. We will also provide security each night to prevent vandalism and food and drinks for the many attendees. There are costs we might only know about once we get closer to the day. We want to make this an event that will be remembered for years. "Post 233 provided and hosted the day the Vietnam Memorial Wall came to Oak Grove, KY."
We estimate we will need $3500 to host this honorable veteran event. If you have already donated, please feel free to think about donating again.
