My mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2016. Since then she has been going to an exercise class exclusively for those with Parkinson's that incorporates boxing moves into a full-body workout routine. Exercise in one of the number one treatments for Parkinson's. These types of classes help slow impairments associated with the movement disorder (see video above). I can't think of a better way to celebrate my 30th than with an exercise class that raises money for an organization that will help my mom as well as others diagnosed with Parkinson's keep moving. All proceeds from this event will be going to Rock Steady Boxing and your donations will be going directly to my mom's local chapter in Franklin, TN.
