On November 2nd, I have the opportunity to go with Student Council to the Arizona Diabetes Walk! I am working to raise $100 for the cause.

The JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes is a fun-filled charity walk held in locations all around the world. The Walk raises funds for the millions of people living with and affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). Participants, walking alone or in teams, raise money for JDRF—the largest nongovernmental funder of T1D research.
The Walk, our flagship fundraising program, is essential to JDRF's ability to award research funding and act as a powerful advocate in the T1D community. Any walker can tell you that the Walk is fun, celebratory, and incredibly rewarding. And it's an easy way to become part of the global movement to cure, treat, and prevent T1D.
In every Walk, walkers and teams come up with creative ways to raise money and promote their participation. And JDRF supports you every step of the way with fundraising tips and tools, like our online Participant Center, that help you ask family and friends for their support.
