Update #7

Over a week has passed, since the violation of the cease fire by the Government of Azerbaijan against the Armenian people living in Artsakh. The cease fire was the largest outbreak since 1994 when the initial ceasefire took place. Many innocent lives were taken. Over 80 soldiers were killed, who were merely at their posts and found themselves under attack. Heavy shelling damaged village homes and families were displaced yet once again. Women and children were left homeless.
On fundraising efforts continue and shall continue. Thus far, we have raised $62,658 from 151 donors. ARS Chapters and Regions, AYF, and community members have started to make pledges.
St. Garabed Armenian Church in Los Angeles had originally made a pledge of $5,000, however after their board meeting, they raised their pledge to $10,000, as board members contributed individually to help raise the pledge amount.
The ARS needs your support to continue our efforts to raise funds. Thank you to everyone who has contributed or supported our campaign. Please continue to spread the word we need your support.
