Art House Astoria Heart & Music Gala 

Art House Astoria is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization in residence at Astoria First Presbyterian Church. As an active part of the Astoria neighborhood since Fall 2009, our mission has been to bring art and music education at an affordable price to Astoria and the surrounding Queens area.

We are hosting our third annual fundraiser "Heart & Music" to celebrate the Arts in the heART of Astoria on Friday, October 18, 2013. The centerpieces of the evening will be two cabaret shows at 7:30 and 8:30 PM  featuring local, professional Astoria performers with a very special appearance by popular "Sesame Street" performer and three-time Emmy award nominee, Leslie Carrara-Rudolph and her puppet sidekick, Lolly. In addition to the main show, the evening will include silent auctions and raffles, student performances, an art exhibit, and refreshments. Tickets are $25.00.

It's also an introduction to Astoria's newest theater venue! Astoria First Presbyterian has transformed a big, empty multipurpose room into an intimate 50-seat black box theater, which not only functions as Art House's primary performing space but also was built to support the Astoria theatrical community and performers.
