My Story & Dream

Six years ago, I lost my mom. The ache of that loss is something I carry with me every single day. She was the heart of our family—hardworking, nurturing, selfless. She loved us with every ounce of her being, and even when life seemed determined to break her, she never stopped giving.

She came to the United States as a young Dominican immigrant, filled with dreams of a better life. She didn’t come here to be seen. She came here to work. To build. To give us something more than she had. She met my father, and together they created a family. They had five kids, all of us watching our parents struggle and sacrifice to make sure we had everything we needed. And even though the times were tough, she never let us feel it. She kept us clothed, fed, safe, always making sure we had the best of what we could, even when that was little.

Through all of that, they achieved what so many immigrants dream of—home-ownership. They worked so hard for that house. I remember the pride in my mom’s eyes the day we moved in. It wasn’t just a house. It was proof that they had made it. It was a symbol of everything she had worked for, everything she had fought for. It was everything.

But even as we grew up and things got better, my mom’s health began to fail. When she was in her 40s, she was diagnosed with a mental disorder and diabetes. The illnesses stole so much from her, and from us. We watched as the woman who once carried the world on her shoulders struggled just to get through each day. Her body betrayed her, and we watched her fight it, fight to stay strong for us even as she grew weaker. I can still see her, exhausted but still trying to make sure we were okay.

Before she passed, she had one final dream. She dreamed of us going back to the Dominican Republic. She dreamed of us owning our own place there, returning to the place where her heart had always been. She wanted to build a life for us there, to leave something behind that we could call our own.

But that dream is slipping further away, not just for her, but for all of us. My father and I have tried everything we can to make it happen, to hold on to her dream. We’ve saved every penny, sacrificed so much, but it feels like it’s just out of reach. And now I’m trying to make it happen—not just for her memory, but for all of us. I’m trying to make the dream she had for us a reality.

I’m looking for investors, not just for a house, but for something bigger. My vision is to build something that lasts, something that people can enjoy. I want to buy land in the Dominican Republic and create a place that will not just be a home for our family, but a place for others too. A retreat. A community. A peaceful getaway for people who want a break from the chaos of the world. The demand for real estate in the Dominican Republic is growing, and I see a unique opportunity to invest in something beautiful.

I’m not asking for help to just build one house. I’m asking for help to build something bigger. I want to build a future, for my family and for anyone who believes in this dream. With your investment, we can make this happen. I’ll start by renting out the first floor of our property to cover the costs, and together, we can make this a partnership that grows and expands into something that will change lives.

This isn’t just about land or buildings or investments. It’s about carrying my mother’s dream with me. It’s about honoring her hard work, her sacrifices, her love, and making sure that her dream doesn’t die with her. It’s about creating a future for my family, a future that’s rooted in the place she always called home.

I have the ambition, I have the vision, and now I just need a little help to make it happen. Because when I look at the land in the Dominican Republic, I don’t just see soil and stone. I see my mother’s dream, and I know that together, we can build something that will honor her. Something that will last, not just for us, but for everyone who believes in the power of hope, hard work, and the love of family. Please, help me bring my mom’s dream to life.

The Dream Continues

As I work to bring this dream to life, I don’t have much to offer in return right now, but I promise that what I can give comes from the heart. Throughout the construction process, I’ll share updates with virtual tours, behind-the-scenes photos, and progress reports so you can be part of every step. Once the homes are finished, I’d love to invite you to spend a weekend and experience firsthand what we’ve built together. This first project is just the beginning—a pilot to ensure that we can replicate this success with future homes, making the process easier and more impactful with each one.

Ultimately, my goal is to scale this vision—not just for luxury, but to create affordable, high-quality homes for locals and smaller families. My mother always dreamed of a better life for us, one rooted in security and opportunity, and this project is my way of making that dream a reality for others too. As I gain experience, I hope to find partners who can help me grow, whether through investment, shared resources, or expertise in construction. This is more than a business venture; it’s a tribute to her legacy and a chance to build something lasting that will give others the same hope and opportunity she worked so hard for. Thank you for being a part of making that happen.
