CASA’s mission is to provide quality advocacy and mentoring for children through a unique one-on-one relationship between a trained and supervised court-appointed volunteer and an abused, abandoned, or neglected child.

CASA recruits and trains volunteers from the community to serve as mentors and advocate for abused and neglected children in Orange County’s foster care system.  Volunteers serve as role models for these children, helping them to stop the cycle of domestic violence, substance abuse and homelessness they’ve come to see as normal.  Volunteers serve as an objective voice in court, ensuring that their youth’s physical and emotional health and educational needs are being adequately addressed.
