Campaign Update: Thank you to all who have donated to help us recognize and celebrate Indiana’s folk and traditional artists—we’re so grateful for your assistance. We’re still taking donations, because every dollar will help assure the ongoing legacy of this new Indiana Heritage Fellowship Award!  Every gift matters!

Master folk artists contribute greatly to the cultural richness of Indiana, but currently there is no program recognizing these tradition-bearers. Traditional Arts Indiana, a program of IU’s Mathers Museum of World Cultures and the Indiana Arts Commission, is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and presenting the state’s cultural heritage. With your gift, you can support a new Traditional Arts Indiana program initiative that will provide recognition of remarkable Indiana folk artists.

Modeled after the NEA's National Heritage Fellowships Award, which recognizes the achievements of the individuals who demonstrate the nation's living cultural heritage, this Hoosier program will promote the vitality and diversity of cultural traditions in this state.

Your gift today will establish a legacy for celebrating Indiana's traditional and folk artists and their ongoing contributions to the richness of cultural traditions in Indiana.

Please, make your gift today!
