Support a Survivor this Holiday Season

Hey Everybody- Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you a season filled with peace and love. As the holidays approach, I've embraced my quieter moments and decided to make a meaningful difference. This year, I'm creating a fundraiser to support those whose holidays might not mirror the picture-perfect scenes we often see online or on TV.

Safe Horizon, founded in 1978, is the largest U.S. non-profit victim services agency, annually aiding 250,000+ individuals in NYC affected by crime and abuse. Their comprehensive support spans various forms of violence, including domestic/intimate partner violence, child abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, stalking, youth homelessness, and violent crimes (including those of race) within communities.

They provide compassionate assistance and expert services, such as counseling, legal aid, and shelter, empowering survivors to rebuild their lives. Collaborating with governmental and community agencies, Safe Horizon advocates for policies at local, state, and national levels.

Central to their mission is a commitment to racial equity. Acknowledging racism as a form of violence, they are actively anti-racist, addressing white supremacy and systemic racism. This commitment extends to internal practices, organizational roles, and community engagement.

Safe Horizon envisions a society free of violence, where victims and survivors find safety, support, connection, and hope. Through their ongoing journey of transformation and accountability, they invite everyone to join in building a world where survivors, particularly those of color, can heal, thrive, lead, and achieve justice.
