This research up to this point has been mostly self-driven and built from salvaged components. With limited prior experience in high-power electronics, I embraced the challenge through hands-on experimentation, including learning to optimize coil winding techniques, pulse discharge circuits, and projectile stabilization through iterative trial and error. My makeshift setup however, was relatively poor, resulting in a fried Arduino. I decided that I needed proper instrumentation, high-quality materials, and expert collaboration. This realization motivated the pursuit of structured research with proper funding, which would help keep the experiments safe and controlled.
