1. Creative Writer’s Weekend Retreat
A dual school, multi-grade level, multi-English level group of misfit poets, snappy screenwriters, and imaginative daydreamers, the CW club has grown from 5 to 30 students in 5 short months. To continue the exploration process, I am planning a Writer’s Retreat for 6 students out of the city.
- I have won a grant but need funds for food: $200

2. Speech and Debate Team
The newly formed team consists of 9 extremely successful students — ALL of whom have qualified for nationals!! These hard working debaters (and one amazing original oratory student) need funds to go to nationals without the burden of fees and so the money would go toward…
- $50 registration
- $100 for lodging
- $160 transportation
With extra funds we would…
- $50 team building escape room :)
- $60 team dinner
