For my Eagle Scout Service Project, I am installing a concrete sidewalk at the Humane Society of Pinellas County.

My name is Daniel Smith, and I am an Eagle Scout candidate from Boy Scout Troop 475. I am 16 years old, and I live in Palm Harbor, Florida. The rank of Eagle is the highest rank achievable by a Boy Scout. Statistically, only 4% of all scouts earn the rank of Eagle. One requirement to earn the Eagle Scout rank is to complete a service project benefiting the community. The money raised through this fundraiser will be used to support the Humane Society of Pinellas, the county's largest no kill shelter. The scope of this project is to build a concrete sidewalk that volunteers can walk on to access the shelter's medical facitilies. Currently, the volunteers are forced to walk on a drain, which can be dangerous to the volunteers and the pets. Your donation will help to fund this sidewalk, and to assist the shelter in continuing to reach homeless animals of the Tampa Bay area. Any donations above my goal will be given to the Humane Society.
In addition, please know that to operate, Fundly must take a small portion of your donation. If you would prefer to send a cash or check donation, please contact me by clicking the "Contact Daniel" button at the top of the page.
If you have any questions about the project or how funds will be used, please feel free to contact me by clicking the "Contact Daniel" button. Thank you for your support!
Yours in Scouting,
Daniel Smith
