Support Mi to Fight Blood Cancer

感谢大家！为米硕同学的海外募捐从6月23号开始到7月2号截止。这10天时间里，我们收到了来自美国，加拿大，英国，瑞士，澳大利亚，日本，新加坡，香港，北京等地的72位朋友的捐助，共筹得善款6675美元。在此特别传达米硕的感恩，是大家给了他继续走下去的动力与机会。​

米硕已于6月30日入仓治疗。预计7月10日将接受干细胞移植。入仓费用和仓内自费药物将由米硕读博所在的清华核研院募集的善款先期支付。此次海外募集的善款和通过米硕国内个人账户募集的善款将主要用于米硕术后的自费药物和康复治疗。虽然官方称骨髓移植的成功率仅有五五之数，术后还将经受抗排异、防复发的考验，但我们的祝福会一直陪伴在他的左右。

Mi is our college friend in China. He is a warm, cheerful boy, always willing to help others. Very few people knew he was growing up in a poor family - his mother died when he was young, his father is blind. 

Despite the family hardship, Mi has his dream and never gave up. His hard work paid off. He was admitted to Beijing Hongzhi Middle School, the country's first charity school. In school, he received numerous awards and honorary titles. In 2006, Mi went to China's top university to study Chemical Engineering. In 2010, Mi continued to pursue his Graduate study. 

However, during his PhD study in 2013, Mi was diagnosed with acute leukemia. 

Fortunately, the hospital has found a matching bone marrow for him. But the cost of the surgery is impossible for Mi and his family to carry.
