Holidays in downtown Excelsior are a special annual tradition! Every year, the Chamber staff and it's members raise funds to support this special season and all it means to the community and special visitors to our area.

Christmas in Excelsior is a magical time. Trees adorned with white lights, old fashion lamp poles entwined with evergreens and holly, snow-covered streets filled with bustling shoppers, adoring the quintessential small-town holiday experience. This is a tradition both community members and businesses have come to anticipate and expect with the first chill in the air.
Christmas in Excelsior is a month-long series of events kicking off with Small Business Saturday the Saturday after Thanksgiving followed by the tree-lighting, carolers, hot cocoa and sleigh rides the first weekend in December. Festivities continue each weekend til Christmas. Our goal is not only to celebrate the holiday spirit, but also bring people to our community to enjoy our local shops, restaurants and activities. It is with this in mind that we are writing to you today to ask for a contribution to keep these traditions alive.
Our goal for this year to cover all expenses of Christmas in Excelsior is $20,000. In order to get holiday décor ordered and installed in time, our deadline is October 1 for donations & sponsorships.
