Hike for Hospice

Hike for Hospice is a new event Androscoggin is planning to replace several past events, most notably their 5k race which families and patients felt had become too competitive and less of a remembrance event as it was intended. The Hike is intended to be a quiet and compassionate activity through which families of passed hospice patients may honor their deceased loved ones, contemplate and remember.

Set against the rolling hills of New Gloucester, Maine on beautiful Pineland Farms, Hike for Hospice offers friends, family and any affected by the loss of a loved one the opportunity to reflect on their loved one and honor them in the manner most comfortable to them.
