All of my teeth have broken off and right now all I can eat is oatmeal and noodles. I went to the dentist to find out how much it will cost to have them fixed so that I can eat regular food. The cost is almost $17,000.

I am diagnosed with anxiety when makes me grind my teeth at night. I am also diagnosed with acid reflux issues which I have to continually take medication for that also contribute to my teeth breakage. I only have Medicaid which will not pay for anything except cleaning and two extractions a year. In order for me to be able to eat properly again the dental plan that was made for me by the dentist that I visited last week, it requires extraction of all of my upper teeth broken teeth, it a full upper denture and extraction of all broken bottom teeth and bottom partials. The insurance will not cover the dentures or partials because I had an upper partial, but the teeth that held that in place are now broken. They said they only cover one partial or denture for a lifetime. I am surviving on an SSI check that barely cover my regular expenses, so I can't afford to pay to get my teeth fixed. Right now, I can only eat oatmeal and noodles as that is the only things that don't hurt my teeth or gums, I have been losing weight too fast according to my doctor, but the insurance doesn't care about that. Because of my income status I can't get any loans or credit to help, this is why I am trying to raise the funds.
