I intend to allocate these funds towards securing a small venue for a dance team comprised of at-risk youth from low-income residential areas, that is centrally located and not downtown. This space will be used for after school practices throughout the year. Additionally, the funds will be used to provide snacks for the students and if feasible cover transportation and uniform costs. The goal is to offer mentorship, guidance, and a supportive environment that fosters mental and spiritual well-being for young people ages 4-18. At the end of the practices, we also plan to organize talent shows for family and friends to attend, as well as host in state competitions with other organizations to further engage and inspire the participants that life is all about what you make it not what you are going through.
