The Episodic Theatre Project is a brand-new theatrical experience/process that culminates in 5 self-contained theatrical performances, or episodes, over the course of 5 weeks and encouraged to be viewed in succession. Designed to kick-start the creative process, this project inspires collaboration and risk-taking through an intensive professional experience that strengthens artistic bonds and community. It embraces and pushes the boundaries of how addictive theatre can be, and just like your favorite television show, have you coming back next week for more and wanting to binge the whole series!

Why You Should Donate

We are passionate about this project because we think it will create community and discourse among like-minded theater makers, especially womxn and artists of color (100% of our artists), who we believe are seeing a lack of opportunities for advancement in their careers as educational opportunities and spaces that encourage artistic risk-taking are far and few post-pandemic.  After rehearsal room and performance space fees, 100% of our raised funds into the pockets of our artists!

Why Now

During this unprecedented time in the theatre industry where we are witnessing a real threat to our art form, we are interested in pushing and reinventing the form and reigniting a passion for live performance and theatrical storytelling. As fans of soap operas and reality TV, our goal is to have the audience unable to resist the urge to see what happens next, and showcase the compelling nature of theatre. We hope to share with our audience a love for a form that is uniquely ephemeral and can captivate in a way that no other medium can.
