...they will be helping the "Phoenix Kids from Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Perú" get the education and nutrition they badly need to succeed in school and lead their families out of the cycle of poverty. The goal of the Phoenix Projects is to create 25-year cycle sustainable programs so eventually each school can take ownership over their operation. We volunteered and managed Phoenix programs in Santa Maria, Guatemala and San Rafael, Honduras, so we know exactly how your gift will be used and we know many of the children that will benefit from it (and who will potentially teach at these schools as a career....thus the sustainable model).

We believe that education, as well as daily food, are basic human rights. In order to combat the imbalances of these rights, we have created sustainable, 25-year cycle, educational community programs. These are funded by local income-initiatives, challenges and international donations through our Fly The Phoenix charity.
Our charity projects are located in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Perú. Not only do we provide education, but we also hire and support local teachers, thereby stimulating the local economy. Through this education and support, we are providing better job opportunities for the future. It is our goal that over time, the community will be able to take ownership, thus The Phoenix Projects become sustainable.
We are a non-religious and non-political, non-profit organization. Learn more at http://www.thephoenixprojects.org/.
