Update #6

Our newest resident on an amazing new journey...a story of Veronica. Veronica has been in and out of jail for 26 years and she has described coming to Georgia's Healing House as "the highlight of my life so far because of its changing power. You have to actually want the change in order to get it. I love living here. When I leave and go out to work, I look forward to coming back here every day. It's like a safe haven for me."

More Info

Every woman that comes through our doors has a different story, however each story has a common thread; addiction to alcohol and/or drugs with little or no hope. This disease knows no bounds and is progressive.

Every woman needs a home in which to begin the journey of recovery. Our home is transitional, kind, loving, warm and safe, allowing women to get back on their feet and live meaningful and whole lives in our community and reuniting with family and friends.

Our community has been very supportive and the media has also been very kind...
