I'm raising money to help cover the costs of top surgery that insurance won't cover. I'm working and saving as much as I can, but I need a little help covering the rest. If you're able to donate or share, I'd be grateful

Hi, I'm Giovanni. I'm raising funds for gender-affirming top surgery.
I bind every day, and it sucks. It's wearing on my ribs, back, and posture. This isn’t just uncomfortable; it’s unsustainable.
I already know who I am. But every day, I’m dealing with a body that makes that harder than it should be.
This is a cosmetic choice, but only partly. It’s also about breathing easier, moving freely, and getting some relief from the physical and emotional toll of binding. Between my back, my ribs, and the cooked-shrimp-like posture I have to fight while binding, it sucks.
I’m not doing this to become someone new. I just want a body that stops working against me.
I’ve done everything I can to prepare, like juggling full-time work, house-sitting, and full-time school while getting everything in place for this next step. My consultation is coming up soon, and I’m trying to get ahead on finances.
Even with insurance, top surgery comes with a lot of out-of-pocket costs. Here’s some of what I’ll be responsible for:
Mastectomy (removal of breast tissue) - insurance covers: $376, my out-of-pocket: $1,602, and my total: $1,276
Nipple reconstruction - insurance covers $2,447, my out-of-pocket $0, and my total: $0
Chest liposuction (not covered) - insurance covers: $0, my out-of-pocket: $898, and my total: $898
Wound closure – large area: insurance covers - $788, my out-of-pocket: $1,740, and my total: $952
Anesthesia (estimated)insurance covers - Partial, unknown yet, my out of pocket: $200–800, and my total: $200–800
Facility fee: insurance covers - partial, unknown yet, my out of pocket $500–1,000, and my total: ~$500–1,000
Labs, supplies, probably pathology - insurance covers mostly, my out of pocket: $100–300, and my total: $100–300
The surgical consult, follow-ups, medications, compression vest, wound care supplies, and post-op prescriptions could add $200–$800 more depending on what’s included.
Total out-of-pocket: ~$5,176
Final numbers may shift and I will update this bio accordingly, but this is the real range and every bit helps.
If you’re able to donate: thank you! If not, sharing this link or sending a kind word means the world.
I’ve done the work to know who I am. Now I need a body that doesn’t stand in the way of that.
With warmth,
Giovanni
P.S. My wonderful spouse Beck edited a photo of my chest a few years back. If you'd like to see more of me than you ever thought you would see, let me know and I can send that to you lol
