Ahmad is a Syrian refugee living in Istanbul. He's currently pursuing a Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering, a field that he is deeply passionate about. His research is focused on preserving cultural heritage sites in the Middle East through seismic risk reduction. He has been selected to present his upcoming Gulf Seismic Conference in Kuwait, a crucial step towards completing my degree.
However, he is facing significant financial difficulties. He needs support to cover my tuition fees, housing costs, and travel expenses for the conference. Without this support, Ahmad is facing homelessness and possible deportation, as he must remain enrolled in his program to stay in Turkey. Your generous contributions will help Ahmad achieve his dream of becoming a geotechnical engineer and contribute to advancements in this important field.
