My name is Rosalba, and I am the mother of Alfonso, a 17-year-old who, through hard work and dedication, has been accepted into six universities in the United States, one of which has a master’s program in finance. This achievement reflects his hard work, commitment to his future, and dreams. However, despite this promising future, we still face a significant barrier: the lack of funds to cover his university expenses.
My family is an immigrant, and while we have always fought for a better future, resources have been limited. My son has grown up with the firm belief that education is the path to change his life and his family’s, and his dream is, one day, to be an entrepreneur who provides opportunities to others.
