Help Edna White Stay in Her Home

More Info

My name is Edna White, and I am reaching out during a critical time in my life. For the past four years, I have maintained my apartment without issue, but this year brought unexpected challenges. In May, I lost my contract, which caused financial instability and left me unable to keep up with my rent. At 60 years old, I am now facing legal eviction.

The good news is that I’ve secured a new contract that will allow me to stay on top of my rent moving forward. However, I am still in arrears and need emergency rental assistance to avoid losing my home.

Why Your Help Matters

I am a trauma counselor, coach, and passionate advocate for the literary arts. I work with East End Arts to offer literary workshops that empower youth and adults to share their stories. These workshops are my way of giving back to the community, ensuring the power of storytelling lives on for future generations.

Your donation will not only help me stay in my home but also allow me to continue serving others through my work and the arts.

How You Can Help

  • Donate: Any amount will make a difference in helping me meet my immediate rental needs.
  • Share: Please share this fundraiser with your network to spread the word.

I deeply appreciate your generosity and support during this difficult time. Together, we can overcome this challenge and keep the literary arts alive and thriving in our communities.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
