Help Esperanza Reach Her Forever Home

Hi, my name is Esperanza del Cielo, in English, it means Hope from Heaven, and this name was given to me by my rescuer who thought that name suited me very well because even though I was found in such a terrible condition I never lost hope. By the way, I am a beautiful female mixed little dog.

I was found on the streets of Soledad Atlantico, Colombia. I was malnourished, with anemia, ticks, and fleas; I had necrosis in my mouth which made it very painful to eat, and because of that, I was very underweight. My rescuer doesn't know how I ended up on the streets in such terrible conditions. When I was about to give up my rescuer from Huellitas Del Cielo took me into her care, she also took me to the doctor, and from there, my healing process began. I cannot thank her enough for what she did.

It took a couple of months to be ready to go to my forever home; the only thing is that my forever mom, who loved me from the first day she saw me on social media happens to live in the USA. The expenses to import a dog from a country with high-risk rabies are very high. There are a lot of things to do before I can finally be with her, such as lab tests, documentation, the serology, and on August 1st the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) implemented new regulations such as me staying in a facility approved by the CDC as soon as I get into Miami, to be seen by a Vet again. The cost of this facility is very high. All my journey costs would be around 3000 to 4000, if there is any money left, I will give it to my rescuer to help other dogs in need. My mom has the means to take care of me such as a warm place to stay, great food, toys, medical care, trips, and lots of love.

I don't want to wait too long to see her and that is why I am asking you to help me be with her faster, I have waited a long time already to be in my forever home
