Help Jerry

Jerry started showing signs of alzheimer disease a few years ago.  2 years ago I had colon cancer and Jerry went into a tailspin.  He thought I was dying and he was very lost.  I survived, thank God, but Jerry continued to decline.  His doctor put him on memory meds and mood drugs due to his anxiety and combative nature.  He was always a sweet loving and giving husband, who suddenly didn't remember me and wanted to run away.  He was admitted into an ALF and I applied for Veterans Aid & Attendance.  NOW the government shuts down and the VA offices closed.  I need help paying for the ALF where Jerry is getting care.  Thanks to Hospice, he is getting better care, but the ALF still wants their fees.
