Im leezylee aka comedianleezylee. I’m a stand-up comedian from St. Louis, and comedy has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Making people laugh brings me so much joy, but recently, I’ve been held back from pursuing my dream due to a personal struggle: my teeth.I’m 40 years old, and over the past few years, I’ve suffered from broken teeth, and I’m even missing one at the bottom. It’s not just a cosmetic issue; it affects my confidence deeply. Every time I get up on stage, all I can think about is whether the audience is staring at my raggedy teeth instead of listening to my jokes. This constant worry has made it incredibly difficult for me to perform the way I used to.Without insurance, I simply can’t afford the dental work I desperately need. I’ve tried everything within my means, but I’m financially embarrassed and at a point where I have to reach out for help.Getting my teeth fixed would mean so much more than just improving my appearance—it would allow me to get back to doing what I love most: making people laugh. Stand-up comedy has always been my way of bringing light to others, but right now, I need a little bit of that light for myself.I’m asking for your support to help cover the cost of dental work so I can regain my confidence and return to the stage. Anything you can contribute, big or small, would make a huge difference. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with others would be just as valuable.Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me get back to smiling, laughing, and sharing my comedy with the world.
