This condition involves the breakdown of the majority of the discs that separate the bones of her spine, leading to numerous severe health challenges.

Michele’s Struggle:

Discogenic Disease has taken a tremendous toll on Michele’s life. She endures constant, excruciating pain, debilitating muscle spasms, and nerve damage that causes neuropathy, weakness, and numbness throughout her body. As if that weren’t enough, she also suffers from debilitating migraines that make even the simplest tasks impossible on most days.

The Impact on Her Life:

Before this disease took hold, Michele was full of life, joy, and energy. She loved spending time with family and friends, engaging in her favorite hobbies, and being an active part of her community. Now, her daily life is a constant battle. The pain and physical limitations have made it nearly impossible for her to work, and she struggles to maintain her independence.

A Ray of Hope:

After numerous MRIs, Michele's medical team has determined a course of treatment to improve her quality of life. This treatment is called Regenerative Injection Therapy (RIT). RIT promotes the healing of injured discs through the injection of a glucosamine and dextrose solution into the center of the disc. These natural substances stimulate the growth of new collagen fibers and increase the strength of the painful disc.
