Help Layla* Secure their housing!

Layla is a good friend of mine and they have taught me so much about the importance of community as a Black trans ENBY! I have seen them utilize their financial privileges in the past to uplift community and has helped me out sooo much in the past. It saddens me to have to make this crowdfund for them as they have lost so much in the past two years. Last year they were finally able to escape an abusive relationship and secure housing after not having security for 2+ years due to their abuser. In January, they were let go from their job due to said abuser harassing them and other employees on a consistent basis. Layla has been able to survive off of savings and mutual aid, however she is currently facing an eviction notice due to being behind on payments. Layla is asking for community support to be able to pay off the remaining rent balance and also secure medications and estrogen as they no longer have insurance to cover them anymore. Remaining money will go towards bills and groceries!
