Hi :) my name is Rook and I use he/they/it/ey pronouns. I’m a 18 year old trans masculine Montanan trying to fundraise for my top surgery. Any funds would go directly toward surgery, anesthesia, facility, consults, post-op care, and any other medical bills. My family is currently struggling with finances and insurance like much of America and I’m not sure if I will be covered when my appointment comes around. My surgery would be partially covered at best because my surgeon is going out of network with Medicaid at the end of July. I do have a job but I won’t be able to work much this summer and I won’t be able to save all of the funds I need by myself. Speaking of which, without insurance, the surgery fee alone is over $7500 so I’m aiming for $10,000 on here. I’d love to raise most of this by July 2024 because that’s when I’d like to get surgery so I can heal before going to college out of state. Any donations would be deeply appreciated and if you are unable to donate I also really value your support or kind-thoughts <3 Thank you all for everything and stay strong out there
