I'm leaving this month to serve as a missionary at Mission Arlington. All I need now is a plane ticket and some prayers.

In the summer of 2011, I spent two months serving as a summer missionary at Mission Arlington in Arlington, TX. My experience was more than I could ever have hoped for or imagined. As I poured myself out to the kids I worked with every day, God filled me back up and helped me to develop a much deeper relationship with Him. When I left, I felt and hoped that I would be back but I had no idea when it would happen or what it would look like.
Now, two years later, I am preparing to return to Mission Arlington. I will be serving as a missionary again for at least a year. The Lord has provided, through the wonderful people at Mission Arlington, a place for me to live and a small stipend that will meet my needs while I am there. All that is left is for me to actually get myself there. My original source for funding my travels has fallen through and so now I am turning to you, my friends and family.
I have set my fundraising goal for $200, which should be just about enough to purchase a one-way plane ticket, pay my luggage fees, and pay for the gas to travel to the airport. Any excess money will go to help me either with every day expenses while in Texas or will be given back to the mission while I am serving.
Any gift you can give is appreciated, but more than anything I simply ask for prayers. Prayers for myself, the people I will be working with, and for Mission Arlington as it serves the community of Arlington, TX and I try to help.
Thank you all for the support and love you have given me so far!
Love, Emma Burleson
