Update #1

Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far! We are thrilled to share that we’re almost at our first milestone of $2,000. Your generosity is making a real difference, and we’re excited to introduce you to one of the individuals benefiting from this support.

Meet Maria Zann, a full-time EMT with LifeLine EMS in Los Angeles. Maria has been with the company since October 2024, dedicating her life to helping others using her skills an an EMT. Unfortunately, Maria’s own home in Altadena was devastated during the early stages of the fire that began on a Tuesday night. Since then, she has been displaced and is working on a more permanent plan to rebuild her life.

Maria has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the community for the support she’s received during this challenging time. She hopes to make significant progress in the weeks to come and deeply appreciates any additional help—whether through donations or by sharing this campaign with others.

If you’re unable to contribute financially at the moment, please consider spreading the word by sharing the campaign link. Every share brings us closer to helping Maria and others affected by this tragedy.

More Info

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers play a critical role in our communities, delivering life-saving care during emergencies and providing compassionate treatment and transport during non-emergency situations. While continuing their vital work across Southern California, many of our clients’ field providers and employees have faced unimaginable losses, with homes destroyed, belongings lost, and families displaced.

These dedicated professionals are not highly compensated, yet they remain on the front lines and helping with the crucial health care continuum. In this case, many had to evacuate their own homes with little notice while they were at work.  The 9 Line Company has long trained EMS personnel and first responders to help themselves and be heroes for others. Now, it’s our communities’ turn to recognize their sacrifice and provide support. EMTs and Paramedics are often overlooked, this campaign is a direct effort to help those EMSers in need. Your contributions will provide essential resources, housing support, and relief to the EMS workers who have given so much for others. Let’s stand together to help those who help us.
