Hiking for Helen Keller International

Thank you all so much for considering sponsoring us as we hike ~1,000 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats! We're raising money for Helen Keller International (HKI) - an amazing charity we support that helps to restore sight in the developing world with cost-effective and practical programs to reduce preventable blindness. 

HKI: 

• delivers sight and lifesaving vitamin A capsules to millions of children under five in Africa and Asia
• gives vision screenings and prescription eyeglasses to students living in poverty in the US at no cost to them or their families
• restores sight through cataract surgery for blind people in Indonesia and Myanmar
• empowers women in Africa and Asia by teaching them to cultivate home gardens that provide healthy meals and extra income for their families
• prevents and controls devastating Neglected Tropical Diseases, like blinding trachoma, which infect 1 in every 6 people, including half a billion children
