Hello,
I want to reach out to all of you and ask for your help in raising funds toward Kristian Love Tejada's medical treatment and after care. Kristian's sister Lisa Tejada works with me at The Home Depot and is now the primary care provider for her sister who has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Lisa is a wonderful and caring person who lost her mother at a young age then her father passed a couple of years ago after a long hospitalization and prolonged suffering. I remember Lisa would drive 50 miles each way every night to be by her father's side untill he passed away. Recently, when I asked Lisa how her sister was doing in school, I was saddened to hear that Kristian had to take an indefinite leave from school at Hollywoods Musicians Institute because she was having seizures and could no longer make the long drive or attend her classes. Lisa proceeded to tell me that her sister was having these seizures because she was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and was now on medication for the seizures that the tumor was causing. It broke my heart to think that this young talented girl with her whole life ahead of her was diagnosed with such a serious condition. Her world was literally turned upside down and because she does not have insurance, she has to go through the county to receive her medical care. I set up this fundraiser in order to raise donations which would help with her medical and personal expenses while she is going through this difficult time. I would like to reach out to as many friends as possible. I think that if we come together, we can raise enough in donations to make a difference in Kristian's life. In situations like this "Time is of the essence" and the faster Kristian can begin treatment the better her chances would be for recovery.
