It has been two months since we lost our girl, Freya, in a fatal accident on Mt. Hood. Since, we have been learning to cope with the grief and trauma one day at a time. In Freya's honor, we will be fundraising for Portland based Pacific Rug Rescue. (Description below) Our fundraising efforts will include FUNDLY, a BottleDrop account, selling Pokemon and other unused stuff on Craigslist, and I believe there will be lemonade stands in our future. If you are willing and able to contribute $5 or $10 to our FUNDLY effort, we would be so grateful. Bruin and I will match all donations. We will submit our donation to Pacific Pug Rescue at the end of July. I will be sure to share with you the total amount we raised at that time. Thank you.
Pacific Pug Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run exclusively by volunteers and funded by donations. PPR rescues, rehabilitates and places unwanted, neglected and abused Pugs in permanent adoptive homes that have been carefully screened.The Pugs and former owners come from throughout Oregon, Idaho and Washington where pugs are rescued regardless of age or medical condition. Prior to adoption, Pugs are cared for by dedicated foster families located in the Portland Metro area. Pugs at PPR receive medical care including spaying/neutering, dental checks, vaccinations, and microchips.
