Gopi Bellam (Gopi) and his family were on a trip to Los Angeles, California for a very important medical appointment with Autism specialist for his son. Unfortunately, before he was able to meet with the specialist, he experienced a sudden heart attack and passed away on 23rd April 2017 around 4:30PM( PST) at St. Joseph's Hospital, Orange County, California.
Gopi was working at Wells Fargo at their San Francisco location and lived in Dublin, California. Gopi left this world at an young age by leaving behind his wife (not working), 4 year old autistic son (needing medical help) and aged parents.
Gopi was a charismatic leader and a beautiful soul, who has mentored and helped several individuals grow, during his lifetime.
His family and friends are preparing for his final journey to his home town in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India, where the final rites will be performed. We will post the details once the schedule is finalized.
Gopi was very benevolent during his lifetime supporting various NGO’s (Non Governmental Organizations) on different causes. We are setting up this fund, considering the ongoing medical expenses of his autistic son and for sustaining his continuous upbringing in the way Gopi would have preferred to do.
Gopi was the ONLY breadwinner of the family and his family is shocked by his sudden and untimely demise at a very young age. Let us help Gopi’s family with our generous contributions. Every bit of your help will go a long way for Gopi’s family.
