Investing in Myself & Asking for a Little Help

More Info

Hi, my name is Brady, and I’m a 32-year-old student with a big dream and a lot of determination. After years of working hard just to get by and putting my own goals on hold, I finally took a leap of faith and enrolled at Bauman College to pursue a career in Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts through their Holistic Chef Program.

I’ve always had a passion for food, baking and having my own food truck or bakery one day. This program is my opportunity to turn that passion into a fulfilling career, but I need a little help to get there.

I currently work two jobs just to cover my basic living expenses. Tuition for the program is $18,000, and while I was fortunate to receive $14,200 through Financial Aid and a Pell Grant, I’m still responsible for covering the remaining $3,800 out of pocket.

On top of that, students are required to supply their own ingredients and equipment for cooking assignments, which adds an additional $3,600 in grocery and equipment costs over the span of the program.

I’ve applied for multiple student loans, but due to my credit (something I’ve been actively working to rebuild), I wasn’t approved. That’s what brought me here, starting this fundraiser in hopes that I can find the support I need to stay on this path.

Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly help cover the remaining tuition and required class expenses. More than anything, it would give me the chance to fully commit to my education and future without falling deeper into financial hardship.

If you’ve ever had to fight for your dreams, I hope you understand what this means to me. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. Whether you choose to donate or simply share this campaign, I appreciate your support more than words can express.

With gratitude,Brady
