Bell Class of '82 Young Life Camp Scholarship

Back in the early '80s a group of ragtag kids from "dear old Bell High School" hung out together on Monday nights in random places around H-E-B... apartment clubhouses, various homes and even skating rinks. They were led each evening by two young adults who had a calling on their lives to love on kids like these and introduce these kids to a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. Monday nights were many of these kid's favorite night of the week as relationships were built, songs were sung, games were played,  and laughter was always in abundance... as they learned about this Jesus who loved them endlessly!

In honor of Jimmy and Cindy Taylor's faithfulness to this ragtag bunch, it was decided at the Class of 1982's 40th Class Reunion to begin an annual scholarship in their name... to send at least one current BHS student to Young Life Summer Camp annually. This summer, Bell kids will go to Carolina Point in NC from July 8-16 and the cost is $795 per camper. 

Carolina Point is the same kind of camp that this 80's group experienced way back in the day. The camp where many of us met Jesus! The camp that was so instrumental in changing the trajectory of our lives due to that encounter with Him! The camp we stillllll talk about all these years later!
