Kids Opportunities to Succeed Inc

My name is Dominique Easter and I am the founder of Kids Opportunities to Succeed Inc. I have experienced challenges that have given me an understanding and much needed compassion, which has helped me to be a positive impact on young people in my pathway, paying forward the opportunities that were extended to me.  That coupled with my professional journey has led me to experience working with homeless families, as a Case Manager for a social services agency, and as a former law enforcement officer, I gained a unique and empathetic lens and perspective when it comes to our youth. I firmly believe that some individuals earnestly need that ONE opportunity. 

I’m fundraising for youth sports and education because I believe every child deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of their background. Growing up, I saw the impact of opportunities and mentorship on a young person’s life. Sadly, not every child has access to these essential tools. For many disadvantaged kids, financial barriers and lack of support systems limit their potential, leaving them at a disadvantage before they’ve even started. Youth sports and educational programs are critical in building character, confidence, and resilience. These programs give kids the skills to succeed both on and off the field. Sports teach discipline, teamwork, and leadership, while educational support helps foster academic success and personal growth. These experiences create a positive foundation, giving young people hope and direction in their lives. For disadvantaged youth, these programs often represent a turning point, offering structure, mentorship, and a sense of belonging. Unfortunately, many families simply cannot afford the cost of participation, equipment, or tutoring. By raising funds, I want to ensure that no child is denied the chance to play, learn, or dream big. Every contribution will help level the playing field, offering more kids the chance to thrive, build their future, and break the cycle of disadvantage. Together, we can make a difference. The funds will be used for sports equipment for children, educational materials, and events for children.
