Kim Moro has been our graphic designer in the Phillippines since 2009.  Many College Hunks franchisees have had interaction with Kim at some point in the past 4 years.

Here's a message from Kim:

Hi Dan:

My family just got a chance to evacuate to Cebu City thru military planes which were bringing in relief goods and supplies.  I just arrived a few hours ago and am using a public cafe for internet access.  I will try to buy a portable wifi by tomorrow so that I can work. Home was devastated but luckily we were safe (it's all that matters). There is too much chaos in our place so I decided to leave for a few weeks or months.Any help is will be very welcome. Thank you very much.

I followed up with Kim to see how we could help, and here was his response:

Hi Steven,Money will be more of help to me here that I am in a strange city as I need to rent a place to stay and I have brought with me 3 families.Any will do.   Thank you very very much.Kim

This man and his family are in a very difficult situation trying to survive - and one of the first actions he took when he was able was to contact us to let us know when he will be able to work again.  That's pretty amazing.

Kim's story may not seem as bad as some we may see on the news; people that were not able to evacuate and are still in camps.  But Kim's in a new city and had to leave everything he owns behind.  In his words, his home was devastated.  He needs a place to live so that he is not on the street.  This is our opportunity to help someone who has helped us.  Anything we can offer will be appreciated.
