The IUPUI Life-Health Internship program can be a transformative experience for students. The experience builds on their existing knowledge, strengthens professional communication skills, deepens their understanding of the work as part of the bigger professional community and field, shapes their professional identity, and provides opportunities for further networking and collaboration in the field of study. These experiences are a strong foundation for future success for our students, whether that is enrollment in graduate and professional programs or entering the workforce.
Life-Health Sciences Internship Program participants are encouraged to travel and present their work at national conferences either during or after the internship. The program has been able to send over 100 interns to 25 states for national conferences, and we want to be able to fund this opportunity to as many interns as possible that want this transformative experience. Your donation can help to fund these experiences and help set a strong foundation for the career success of our interns.
