It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our beloved baby boy, CJ, who was diagnosed with leukemia on May 14th, 2024. CJ was born on January 7th, 2023, bringing immense joy and light into our lives. He is only a little over a year old, and his bright eyes and innocent smile have already touched the hearts of everyone who has met him.
In the weeks leading up to his diagnosis, we noticed some worrying symptoms. CJ began to develop odd bruising in random places on his body, which puzzled us. Soon after, we spotted Petechiae spots, tiny red or purple dots, under his skin. Most distressing of all was the sudden loss of mobility in his legs. These signs led us to seek medical attention, and after numerous tests and consultations, we received the heartbreaking diagnosis of leukemia.
As parents, this news has been an unimaginable shock and an overwhelming burden. Our sweet baby, who should be exploring the world with curiosity and laughter, is now facing a battle against this formidable disease. Despite the immense challenges ahead, we are determined to stay strong for CJ, providing him with all the love, care, and support he needs.
