Hello to all, my name is Arnold Morehouse and I am the owner of Cozy House of the South. I was a Middle School Math teacher for over 8 years and a GED instructor for over 5 years. December 24, 2019, my mother accidentally passed away due to complications of dementia. She was an educator, Principal, for over 35 years of her life. She had 15 other sisters and brothers and she was always considered the cornerstone of the family. Our home was always the place where family would gather and stay at different times. She was always a welcoming and inviting mother and sister. So, when my mother passed, I had to assume her mortgage responsibilities. About 2 years later, a massive ice storm hit doing damage to the home and a couple of years later a severe storm hit that caused flooding and roof damage. All my responsibility. These major occurrences caused me to take a few years away from the teaching profession so that I could refocus and re-evaluate my life. I was inspired to follow my passion which was entrepreneurship. Cozy House of the South (www.cozhhouseofthesouth.com) was born (our neighborhood over night guesthouse rental business). I consider this start-up as my "Baby." Unfortunately, my wife and I do not have any children, but we do consider Cozy House of the South to be our first born. I have self funded the rehab of our family home with money that I have saved over the years. Your financial assistance with this matter will not go unnoticed.
