LPRT Fundraising for 2016

Wonderful LPRT families & friends,

We can't wait to kick off our 2016 summer production of Dorothy Potter & The Wizards Of Oz! Janinne has been up late at night crafting her magical script with a dash of cleverness here, and a song of hilarity there. Our production team has begun meeting and are already ramping up to take you to the far off land of Ozwarts. You will all be enchanted by what we are putting together this year and we are eager see all those beautiful smiling children singing, dancing and bonding.

On top of all the usual excitement that surrounds gearing up for the show, LPRT has been offered an incredible opportunity for our program and we need your help. A $5,000 matching grant has been awarded to us, which means that if we raise that amount within a limited time frame, we will secure matching funds of an additional $5,000! Needless to say, this would be an amazing boost to our shoestring budgets, and would allow us opportunities which would typically be out of reach. A particular need of ours has been to uphold and strengthen our teen mentorship program. We struggle each summer to meet the financial demands of this program. As cast members age out of LPRT, many want to continue to be involved with us, and we don’t want to turn anyone away. Having funds available to offer small stipends to Junior Player RA’s and to pay RA’s a fair wage for their time is important to our mission. Additionally, we pride ourselves in keeping our program affordable, lower than other companies. 

We're asking you as a member of our beloved LPRT family to help us reach our goal of raising $5,000 by April 30th, which would secure our matching grant funding and allow those funds to be used towards meeting our program goals. So click your heels together three times, raise your wands, and repeat after me "Supporto donatus little peepus".
