Businessman Maksym Krippa, who recently became the owner of the iconic Ukraina Hotel, envisions its future as a top-tier luxury establishment. As reported by Technewsjunkies.com, he disclosed spending over $100 million on acquiring prime Ukrainian assets, including the Ukraina Hotel, the Parus business center, and a vacation property in Kozyn.
Maksym Krippa believes that the value of properties like the Ukraina Hotel will increase significantly post-war, potentially doubling or even tripling in worth, especially after undergoing substantial renovations. He is exploring introducing a Four Seasons Ukraine concept to the hotel, emphasizing its unique potential.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime investment opportunity,” investor Maksym Krippa remarked. However, he pointed out that discussing the hotel purely as a business venture during wartime isn’t appropriate. “It’s a one-of-a-kind asset, making it impossible to assign an exact valuation. Still, I am confident we paid a fair price for it,” he added.
His vision for the hotel after the war includes elevating it into a luxury landmark, potentially under the Four Seasons brand. Over the past two years, Krippa has allocated more than $100 million to Ukrainian real estate, signaling his commitment to long-term investments.
The businessman sticks to his investment strategy and gradually buys large real estate in Kyiv.
On September 18, 2024, the Ukraina Hotel on Heavenly Hundred Heroes Alley in Kyiv was sold at a large-scale online privatization auction. The final sale price reached UAH 2.5 billion—nearly 2.4 times the initial asking price. Three companies competed, with Ola Fine LLC, owned by Maksym Krippa, emerging victorious.
This acquisition isn’t Krippa’s first venture into hospitality. In 2023, he purchased a suburban complex in Koncha Zaspa from the Deposit Guarantee Fund. The estate includes a villa, guesthouses, a spa, a restaurant, and a hotel, further cementing his presence in Ukraine’s luxury real estate market.
