At Margaret’s Place, Adult Recreation & Wellness Center, a state classified Adult Day Care, we are driven by a mission to revitalize the lives of retired and disabled individuals. Since 2015, we’ve provided a nurturing, home-like environment where seniors and disabled adults can flourish, offering them care, companionship, wellness services and meaningful engagement.

Our seniors deserve the opportunity to live vibrant and fulfilling lives. We offer a space where participants receive healthy home cooked meals, essential  wellness attention, and enjoy enriching community programs designed to foster social interaction and personal growth.

Unfortunately, many seniors find themselves trapped in what we call the "Medicaid Dilemma." Despite being just a few dollars above the Medicaid limit, these individuals cannot access the financial assistance they need to join our supportive community. This gap leaves them isolated and without the essential services we provide.

One remarkable example of our mission in action is the story of Mr. Bobby. After a tragic accident, his prognosis was grim; after receiving 2 years of rehab he was sent home to never walk or talk again. His daughter became his full-time caregiver. But everything changed when he joined Margaret’s Place. With the support of our wellness team and staff , Mr. Bobby defied the odds— regaining independence and achieving goals once thought impossible. Stories like his inspire us every day to keep doing what we love to do.

We need heroes like you to help us overcome the Medicaid limitations. Your generous support can make it possible for more seniors and disabled adults to access the meals, care and companionship they deserve. Every contribution to the Margaret Brown Legacy Fund directly supports those who need financial assistance to join our community.

Your support not only provides essential care, but also creates opportunities for disabled adults and seniors to live their best lives. At Margaret's Place, we combat feelings of isolation and depression through engaging activities and social connection. Our life planning services empower individuals to shape their future with confidence and purpose. Your donation helps provide adults and seniors with:

  • Nutritious Home cooked meals and snacks to fuel their day
  • Engaging activities that promote physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well-being
  • Opportunities to connect with others through clubs, support groups, and outings
  • A life coach for personalized support for future planning and overall wellness
  • Respite care and support for caregivers
  • Access to therapeutic services like yoga, massage, haircuts
  • Transportation
Your generosity ensures that every individual at Margaret's Place can live a life filled with dignity, purpose, and joy.

The cost of providing comprehensive adult day care services is significant. Your generous donations help cover:

  • $160/day: This covers nutritious meals, engaging activities, and personalized support for one senior for an entire day
  • $800/week: This amount ensures a senior receives five full days of care, including social interaction, health monitoring, and assistance with daily activities.
  • $3,200/month: This covers a full month of comprehensive care, providing a consistent and supportive environment for a senior in need.
  • $41,600/year: This substantial donation allows a senior to receive year-round care, ensuring they have access to the services they need to live with dignity and purpose.
Every dollar donated makes a difference in the lives of our seniors. Your support is crucial in helping them afford the care they deserve.
